Popped into the Store at the ground on my way home tonight - away shirt looks okay - interestingly - they don’t have any away socks! The more expensive shirt - is it vapour or something looks miles better than the stadium shirt - but it’s expensive. Generally I think the kits and training gear this year are pretty poor in past years the Nike training gear has been good (if a bit expensive). That warm up shirt is comfortably the worst item of sports clothing I have ever seen. I can honestly say I won’t spend anything in the club shop this season.

I’d rather have that than the bloody Moon printed on the kit like we had a few years ago. May as well be called Moon FC the amount of shite gimmickry we’ve had from it.Aparently the orange third will have a satellite image of Manchester/streets/area around the Etihad printed in it...
As long as the daft pricks at Nike remember not to put the Swamp on it!
At least this brings a big of Mancunian-ness to City which a strangely a refreshing change. We don’t do enough of that

It was noticeable today going to the store - loads of people were popping in but I didn’t see anyone buy a shirt - it was circa 3:00pm but on launch day you’d have thought a few would have indulged - but it didn’t seem so. The away kit is navy - but the darkest navy possible - looked black in the low light of the store but if you shone the iPhone light on it you could see it was blue. The shorts look a minor shade lighter and looked more blue. As I said earlier they had no yellow socks they had it with the home socks - which actually looked okay with it.

To be fair they can do what they like with the 2nd and 3rd kits. It’s the home kit that e need to be “perfect”.
The home IMO is poor. The piece on the back looks from afar like a ponytail and the socks are too dark.
2015/16 was perfect. (Except the badge could have been more subtle)

My perfect kit has the badge centre stage with no sponsors so I'd completely disagree with that.
It was that hard background that the badge sat on I I didn’t like.

Do you prefer rolled up newspapers down the socks as opposed shin pads also?
