New Laptop

If i get some severe bad sectors shown in the diagnostic though meeesh should be well pissed off.
You should not be having to check for bad sectors on an 18 month old lappy that has had minimal usage and i can't stress enough how minimal it is.
If this disk if it reports back bad sectors should never have passed any sort of quality control imo unless it was second hand.

Special thanks this morning to TCIB who spent an age on Saturday evening/yesterday morning on sorting out my lappy.

I don't know if he will thank me for this but if anyone has any issues with their pc/lappy he's the man to sort it,what that lad don't know about computer stuff ain't worth knowing

As a thanks I have offered him a ticket for the Southampton game and hopefully he takes me up on the offer and I can buy him a pint or 2 as well

Bluemoon strikes gold again, this place is unique, just like all us Blues !!

Cheers again mate

Right folks some advice required here please. My laptop has been running very slow so me thinking I was a clever dick, asked around and was advised to just put old files into recycle bin. So I began to do a bit of tidying up of files etc. Also as You tube as not running properly, advised to restore system after uninstalling Norton. The result is, I'm now left with a laptop that I can't get on the internet on and I can't system restore it because of some error message. My question is do I take it to be repaired at Currys or do I cut my losses and buy a new laptop? I use it mainly for Internet purposes. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you most kindly:)
