New Nike Kit 13/14? (Merged)

is it me or do Adidas have like a 2-tier system to their kits. Teams like Bayern, Lyon, Real, Chelsea get premium kits, whilst teams like Stoke, West Brom and Swansea get the "Sunday Pub League" kits?

Nike used to do this as well, with teams like Fulham getting the standard generic kits available to any old Sunday League team.

They are now. Nike used to do it with them and quite a few lower league teams. I think they ditched them all a while back.

Despite plenty on here saying they like them, City's black and red shirts are notoriously bad sellers, so one with a huge block of red on it is just asking for trouble.

Nope someone has obviously designed it from the one I did. When i did it, i used opposite gradients in photoshop for the stripes thinking it couldn't possibly be done physically.

But its the from the graphic I did that The Mirror used as a "possible new kit" article, some bright spark must have thought its the official release and faked it thinking he'll make thousands ..... epic fail! lol

And if anyone else out there wants to turn my theories into reality, heres the others i did on the same day:

You have a real talent fella and should be working in the industry designing kits.

Some belters there and far better i will wager than what we eventually get.

So someone somewhere is looking on here, (and most likely other clubs' forums too), thinking what a poster has put on is the real kit and then actually manufacturing a copy of it, in the hope to sell it as a snide of what he/she thinks is the original?

Yup ... or ... someone just googled "manchester city nike kit" and the image of mine came up .. cos they are stored on Imageshack. I've counted about 25 that are mine, will be more, just by googling that for images lol

i just take it as a compliment ... only did them so fans could visual different kits as Nike kits.


China for ya ... if they can build a skyscraper in 8 weeks when its takes us years to do one, making a shirt that someone else has designed is piss easy lol
