Not watched it since the days of Billy Beaumont and it was shit then so it probably is now. All the same I have no doubt they will have made these changes in order to fit in with current trends of ensuring the teams are of the right ethnic balance in order to further educate us peasants (or those that watch it at least) of the multicultural utopia we must aspire to live in.

Alex Scott got the presenters job apparently.
Which woke team captains will be selected. Lewis Hamilton and Naomi Osaka?
You know as well as I do that those 2 won't be on it, certainly not as team captains, so what are you *actually* bothered about?
And let's say Alex Scott does get the presenters' job, although it's not confirmed, would that bother you? Would you miss Sue Barker that much, when do you last watch the show?
I find it remarkable that people have a problem with black people and other minorities being on TV as if there is some conspiracy against white millionaires!
I'm also not too sure what 'woke' means, is it the new 'PC'? Another Daily Mail word used to shout down anyone who feels minorities should be included and represented?

Or, more likely, look to attract a younger audience and represent the UK's diverse population. But, I'll ask again as I asked yesterday, what is wrong with a bit of positive discrimination? There are plenty of minorities that don't get opportunities

By who? The Mail or Twitter to get people even more angry about a programme they don't watch? It was statues a couple of months ago, then it Soccer Saturday, then it was Last Night Of THe Proms, last week it was a dance routine and now it's Question Of Sport. Then next week it will be something else - devide and conquer

I am personally not bothered who they put on as I dont watch it. I have no time for discrimination of any kind positive or otherwise.
My own view is I am rather sick of being force fed all this how we all have been and continue to be terrible to Black people, Muslim people, gay people, transgender people, people with mental illness, disabled people, Well I have no problem with any of the listed and rather resent being told I have day and fucking night...I wish they would give it a rest. Before anyone pipes up I fit into two of those categories.

I was just satirising some of the posters on the thread with my woke comment.
I haven't watched the show for years to be honest. People kicking off about it are just looking for something else to trigger them.
Yeah it's so basic I don't understand how anyone could possibly dislike it so much.Thee and me must be the only people watching it! I find it relaxing, non controversial and relaxing. You can’t say that about many programmes these days!
Besides it's much easier to follow than University Challenge.
