Imagine the reception Alan would receive if he did sign for us, he would not lack confidence!

the team needs a good striker... not necessarily a tevez partner, tevez is just a player like anybody else.

Then when everyone realised that he was average at best the booing would begin.

Definitely not, I would love him to be but only if his family moved over here, or he stopped moaning about being homesick all the time.

I think in summer there will be plenty of talent available for a CL qualified team with the highest paying wages in Europe.
