New PC not firing up

I've done loads of pc's and it can be any-one of a number of componants.
It could be a dodgy MB but I've had this a few times and more often than not its been a loose connection.
Recheck every single mb connection, take them all out and double check them.
I specifically remember having grief like this and finding it was a loose gfx card connection.
Does it give several beeps when turning on?
The post (power on self test) often tells you what's wrong so if you get any number of beeps try wacking it into google and see what it says for a diagnosis.

No beeps, so I think maybe it's not getting to POST
All fans work but that's about it.
Checked all connections numerous times,
have now refitted old mobo etc.
