I went to the Open day today., with my 8 year old. We entered the stand. and there were a few people sat in the "Commentators seats", so we joined them, and waited for about 40 minutes for the players to come out.
All the seats around us were now pretty full, and just as the players finally came out, a couple of stewards came over, and started to move us all from the commentators seats, and told us to find seats elsewhere. I pointed out to the stewards that we had been sat there for over 40 minutes, and no one had asked us to move. She said we should not be there, and if it was a match day we wouldnt be sat there!! She had a very arrogant attitude, and by the time we found another seat where my lad could see, we had missed most of the fun.

Even on a family fun day, we cannot get the stewarding right! All they needed to do was cordon that area off if it was a problem

TBH, you describe them as the commentator's seats, you knew they were not general seats, at 2:20pm there were loads of empty seats, if you would've taken a 'normal' seat there wouldn't have been a problem.

One of the buggers took my pint off me, there was loads of people drinking in their seats aswell.

Oh well..

i dont think its the fact that they had to move that is the big problem. it sounds like the attitude of the stewards. to be honest i havnt really had any problems with coms stewards before but its a shame you felt your day was ruined. get your arse to the friendly tomorrow night. plenty of seats, kids tickets are a fiver and you wont miss any action.

My moan is the fact that we, along with many others were sat there for approx 40 minutes before hand, and the stewards were stood close by, and never said a word, it was only once th eplayers were coming out that they started the fuss. I was not the only one moaning, there were plenty oithers, and yes, at 2,20 there wwere plenty more seats. It was as if they waited for that moment to then show that they had some importance. No Need.
They just seem to want to make life difficult.
And yes, it did ruin my kids day, as where we moved to, he couldnt see, due to others standing for no reason, and others queing in the aisles to get autographs.

And yes, I will be there tomorrow night, and all season, just like the last 34 years.

i got the city home shirt today with silva on back and i didnt put it on i left it in the bag and went to training session and when i got home by dad looked at my shirt to notice that the numbers werent straight and one was higher then the other and i got it from the city store in arndale, do u reckon they will give me a new one or will they say no they cant do anything :/ i would be pretty annoyed if they dont because they should get staff that can do the printing right! its still got the tag on and everything and still got receats. going to ring them up in morning to see what they can do anyway.

Fook that take it to the store and tell them to sort it, you have paid good money for it.
