New Stadium

There was a thread on ehre a whiel back when someone alluded to getting a new stadium built for us.

Got me thinking - could a new stadium be the most important thing for us to go forward? Forget all the major signings, we need a foundation.

our stadium is one of the best am sure they would find a way to keep building on it, theres no piont building a bigger one if the coms is getting sold out.

I'd love a new stadium, just built for football, with high terraces, designed to keep the noise in, away areas open air (we care about their health) and properly segregated...so long as the Arabs can bung the powers and we can actually have standing and sitting areas like the owd days.

we might have all the money in the world but building anew stadium, when we have only been in this one for lessthan ten years, is not exactly the best idea, especially in the current economic downturn...hardly likely to get many supporters for the idea at any level of the football or political world

A few weeks back i was talking to a steward at the ground he told me that the owners team of architects, along with the builders were in, drawing up plans to put another level above both North and South stands thus making our ground a 70000 seater stadium...........
