New Winger

We probably have the best LW in the Prem atm in Foden, he may not end up as a winger but right now that's his spot and he's tearing it up

Mahrez is also fantastic and is having a great season, still 30 so still in his prime, if he was at a different club plying like this anyone would want us to sign him

Sterling is super low on confidence and isn't having a good season but he's still got 15 contributions (9G & 6A) in 24 games, not bad for now our 3rd choice

Still think Sterling will come good again, he's played more football than most under Pep, maybe he's a little burnt out given how little rest players got this pre-season due to COVID

Jesus arguably plays better off the left and Bernardo is pretty good on the right (he's obviously better down the middle)

And Torres has talent, he's done it at La Liga, for Spain and early this season....although there could be the argument he should become a striker

And as others have mentioned, Palmer is waiting for his chance, he seems a top top talent

Unless we sell one of Sterling or Mahrez then I can't see us getting a new winger, and I don't think we really need one, at least not this season

to be fair it depends on who we buy as a striker as to whether we buy a left winger or left wing back, but Sterling, Marhez, Torres and Palmer are all right wingers, there is a long list of players that can play left wing and Foden is the best, but are we really going to reduce his imput as we have done with Sterling?, when we sold Sane we sold a player with strengths that no other City attacker has, it has changed the way we play and our success, we have scored 2 goals this season on the counter and that has changed the way opponents play against us as well, we do need a left winger but that could be offset by buying a good left wing back.
