Newcastle (a) post match thread

What you talking about? The geordies were well trying to get him sent off and the ref pretty much said it was last chance saloon. Pep took him off because of that.
Cobblers mate you don’t take him off you make him exercise self control. Sent off or subbed he can’t influence game when we need him either way.

Danilo rather than Ferna is at fault for the pen. I thought he looked dodgy all night. I don’t know if Delph was injured but if not I’d play him there every time away from home

When you're not attacking well you at least need to be compact and solid at the back. We've got good ball players at the back but no great actual defenders.

Also playing a top heavy system when the guy who's engine you rely on is running out steam then it makes the decision to play him at home to Burnley even more crazy.

This team seriously lacks fight or determination when their backs are against the wall, almost every time they concede a goal, the players look vulnerable, rather than determined to get back into the game.

There is a serious mentality issue with our team, which is why we won't win the league this year or next year, until we change this aspect of our game.

Rondon was MOTM, bullied are centre backs all game. If Vinny played we would have won that match as he relishes them kind of battles.

Yep Stones is so Passive backs of instead of challenging then you have walker and Danilo who were very poor also.

I tell you some posters on here make this place f#$+ing unbearable. It's a game. Some act like City's names are already carved on the trophy for this season. There are lives to be had... get one. Football is supposed to be enjoyable... a distraction we are coming of an unbelievable season we can't simply look back and forget that and expect to replicate it immediately. Of course from the looks of it the whole front office and investors are members here. Some poor sods here will die watching a bad city game as serious as they take it. Lots of games left, try not to stroke out in the process.

Cue Liverpool to drop points tomorrow then tonight’s result will really hurt.

Exactly what I thought when the ref blew the final whistle.

Put your life savings on it. A draw too making it a bigger kick in the balls.

Premier League chief executive Richard Scudamore hopes defending champions Manchester City face a stiffer challenge in the coming season.

City sealed the title with five games to sparelast term and finished 19 points ahead of second place.

"It doesn't take away from City's excellence, but we want the season to go to the last," said Scudamore.

"I'd like multiple trophies needed in various locations on the last day because we don't know how it will end."

Scudamore, who will end a 19-year tenure in December, added: "I'd like someone to get a little bit closer to Manchester City.

Because he was going to get sent off ffs, that booking threw him off his game, was fortunate not to go after that tackle and needed to go off as anything else he’d have seen a second yellow.
He’s got to exercise self control subbing him fucked us up same as him being booked again would have. We should’ve been going all out to win the fucking game

End of the day we lost but come on boys some are starting to sound like Rags and Dippers fan's,we are better than this. Leicester could win or draw tomorrow and it would be game on again,Who thought we would lose this tonight hey not that many so it does happen so we move on.
