In excusable from professional footballers that. Proves we have no leaders in the team and we’re mentally and physically done.

You know we had 24 shots, only 9 of which were on target and only 2 goals.

THAT’S our issue this year, not pep or the midfield.

injuries obviously don’t help an already shit defense but that conversion rate is unforgivable.

Fernandinho isn't a central defender. Should have gone with Garcia but it's too late now. Damage done.

No hyperbole, no drama, no hysteria, but I think that must be the League done and dusted now. Hard to see us going on a run that claws back those points, and two other teams vying for the same thing.

    Couple of things:

    1) Kevin De Bruyne simply cannot carry this team in his back.
    2) Raheem Sterling is our top goalscorer, yet the number of times he misses, or simply bundles the ball and loses it while on the move, is a big step back to where he was the season before last.
    3) It’s time to play two centre halves at center half, and, if needed, play two DMs in front of them. Fernandinho is a brilliant ball player, but he is simply being asked to do too much that isn’t in his nature. That foul is almost unforgivable and he should have been sent off.
    4) Kyle Walker needs to learn when to pass and stop running across the pitch dribbling, because he doesn’t have the technical ability to not lose the ball or overrun it.
    5) Time for Phil Foden to start a few games and David Silva to be getting cameos. He played well for an hour, but the League is gone, so save him for the CL and the odd 20-30 mins here and there.
    6) Gundogan will get slated, but he has been the oil in the machine while Ferna has been at the back and Rodri out injured. He might not give any 10/10 performances, but he rarely gets less than a 7, and even then it is usually not his fault. We know what he can’t do, but what he can do, he does very well.
    7) Bit of a toss up who is worse at the moment, Mahrez or Bernardo. Mahrez was anonymous out on the right wing, but Bernardo should have scored a sitter and didn’t, even though he was lively when he came on.
    8) Mendy’s inside pass is an abomination and sets us on our heels because he telegraphs it so badly. When his outside game isn’t on, then he looks like he is a waste of a starter. Needs to get the correct service, and in decent time, for him to be effective whipping that ball in. Today, even when he got the chance, he blew it far too often.
    9) Regardless of what the question is, John Stones isn’t the long term answer. Need a right sided CB.
    10) Just not happening this season so far. Play the second team with lots of kids in the League Cup, an extra one or two starters in the FA Cup, and save the serious core of the team for the PL and, more especially, the CL.
    11) Hard to put a good spin on leaving Jonjo Shelvey alone on the edge of the box on a free kick with 2 mins to go. UFB, in fact!
    12) SHOOT! SHOOT! SHOOT! FUCKING SHOOT!
    13) No, Bernardo & Raz, NOT LIKE THAT!!!

I hate their fans but their team deserves it.

They take their chances and can defend.

Did not predict us to be so far from the top. Although I never predicted pool to do so well after last seasons luck

he is the ONLY one playing well back there.......ALL the others are the issue...Mendy is utter garbage and aint premiership quality...cant defend, cannt attack, Stones is poor one on one and looks flustereed and his mind aint on it - he actually looks stressed! and Walker is at least trying hard.
