Let’s imagine we manage to get to both domestic cup finals and the semi final of the champions league, not unrealistic given the draws. We would have played 12 domestic cup games and 12 champions league matches, plus the community shield. So that’s a 63 game season, meaning the Premier League only accounts for 60% of our season!

Now Liverpool, they only played 2 domestic cup games all season and there’s a chance that they might get knocked out by Bayern (even if Bayern are nowhere near what they used to be). If Bayern win, they’ll have had 8 champions league matches, meaning a 48 game season and the League will have accounted for 79% of their season!

That in a nutshell is why they really should win the league from here. It’ll be our greatest title win yet if we pull it off.
Thanks for the numbers,we are busy! winning the title is always the most important to me so i'm disappointed we appear to be handing it over to them of all people

Too early to be talking about winning titles as Liverpool still have a decent advantage.
These 4 league games in 12 days probably in poor conditions is really tough for us. Would be amazing to get all 12 points.
Big issues for these 4 games for me are
How many do KDB and Fernandinho play and who plays up front.
Come on City

It is a bit scary when you think about all the fixtures we are playing but we are rotating players all the time and also teams like Arsenal are badly affected by injury. I think the fixtures are working to our advantage at the moment as the number of games have allowed us to get Jesus back to his best, and KDB has got better too.

Vinny and Mendy aside we are playing all these four sides when they are travelling as poorly as they could be.

Newcastle just knocked out the FA Cup and home to a side that made 11 changes from their previous home draw against Burnley and scoring less than a goal a game.

Arsenal injury riddled and low on confidence having just been knocked out the FA Cup and looking like finishing behind Manure which not many would have thought 6 weeks ago.

Everton knocked out the cup by lower league side and accumulated 8 points from their last 10 games including some embarrassing home defeats.

Chelsea poor against Arsenal and just bedding in their striker having discarded one and the other on his way out as well.

Anything can happen but if we play to our style and put away chances we will create we couldn't ask for much better opposition in these four games.

Yeah same here, we got a tough period coming up, the kind that makes champions. Looking forward to how the scousers do, if they come through fair do's, but now lets see what they#re made of.

Tongith will be a real test I think.

Agree with much of this but I think the midweek Goodison game will be a real tough one.

Strange conclusion. Maybe a good time to play Arsenal, but not the other sides....especially Chelsea.

too early to talk about winning it indeed, however failure to pick 12/12 from the the next batch of tough(ish) games could possibly take it out of our reach.

Lots of calls for Bernardo here. While he's been immense this season, I think we need David to pick through what is undoubtedly going to be a parked Liverpool bus.

I think Bernardo is best in end-to-end games like Liverpool, and he's making a case to be the first name on the team sheet in these games, possibly second behind Ferna.
