Thought our two strikers were absolutely awful especially Jesus. Another assist for Mendy but he is a huge huge worry for me & he nearly cost us the points, I'd prefer Delph as Mendy simply can not defend, played Rondon onside for the goal & his positional awareness after that was dreadful. On another note Sterling is a superstar.

Didnt play at all well today so laboured and lacking invention However we make it hard on ourselves by missing at least three sitters EVERY MATCH Its hard enough finding spaces when were up against a parked bus but when we get a chance ffs finish it. Only early days but a team more capable would have beaten us today It goes without saying we miss KDB

We had this all last season and it rarely happened. It's all supposition. We might have played a tad better against a more aggressive side.

Phew...odd last 15 minutes when I expected to feel nervy but they did nothing to warrant panicking.
Should have won by more.
What was Kun thinking off at the end? Ludicrously bad decision.
Sterling was good, Stones very comfortable on the ball. Fernandinho seems a half second slower in his decision making so far this season and it is causing us issues when he gets caught on the ball.
Very forgettable match

Think Sergio got caught in two minds, he'd clipped that nice one for fernandinho earlier and I reckon he second guessed that and going himself & did neither

What a shit game today..... if I were a Newcastle fan I would ask for my money back. The tactics today were shocking & made a game of football fecking boring. I can't remember the last time I left a game before whistle but this was dire to watch.

Relieved when that was over.. Thought stones was top again aswell as walker. Was funny seeing all the tough guys outside be separated by one tiny steward. Fair few angry Geordies there today!
