Newcastle (H) Post Match Thread

Thank god it's over and we have no injuries and 3 points, at the end of the day that's all you need.

However, how do you fix complacency/laziness? That's what Pep is going to have to figure out this season as the early signs are suggesting we're in for a slog of a season.
 
I agree fern looked horrible but for that matter the whole team looked crap. A wins a win but my lord one mistake and that’s points lost. A Kyle walked thunderbolt saves the day
 
Three points move on. We still look miles from sharpness. Just gotta grind out the results until it clicks.
 
Too much tinkering from pep imo and Mendy going forward is great but defensively it leaves us with a problem! Could we not play Mendy wing and delph behind at times? Not got firing besides Huddersfield this season yet which is slightly concerning
 
We don’t seem at our sharpest going forward and bizarrely open to the counter. It was telling that Kompany came on at the end. Thankfully the International break gives us time to rest and regroup.
