Not a great performance but result was important. Poor first half, better in second half after Bernie came on. I thought Sterling and Stones were stand-outs. Good second half from Walker. Mahrez needs to get up to speed quickly, he looks out of place at moment. My biggest concern is Fernandinho. he seems very lethargic. He got caught in possession a few times today, gave the ball away a lot and made some poor passes. Ten points from 4 games though and no complaints from me.

Still think we should return to the back 4 formation that we used last year for the majority. We seems disjointed, defensively more vulnerable than last year and not as good going forward

Didn't see us using a back 3 today, but are you suggesting that utilising the back 3 in a few other games has thrown us out of our rhythm?

I think the big change is where our width is coming from. It's not from wingers it's from the wing backs, with Mendy in the team.

I read somewhere that some feel Pep is accommodating Mahrez, playing Sterling on the left, but I think it's arguably even more so about Mendy especially, but also Walker to utilise their pace wide, whilst playing the others as inside forwards, which is also affecting Sane most at this moment, I think.

Sterling great touch inside and finish into the opposite corner. Stunning first goal my motm Kyle Walker which ended up winning us the game. Quite off our best the last 2 games, might just be ring rust, hopefully will get better soon.
