after newcastle's vindictive holier-than-thou reaction to nige's fair tackle on the unfortunate hatem ben arfa, they've settled out of court for kevin nolan's tackle on victor anichebe. this was a shocking foul that resulted in a straight red for nolan & anichebe out of action for almost a year.
after incidents like this & the one involving guthrie & fagan newcastle need to get their own house in before they start bitching about other teams' players.

Nolan was shown a straight red card for the challenge on Anichebe during a 0-0 draw at St James’ Park in February 2009 and subsequently apologised.
But the Nigeria forward, 22, who was denied the chance to play in that year’s FA Cup final, took legal action for loss of earnings related to bonuses for club and country.

Anichebe, who will be part of the Everton squad who return to Newcastle on Saturday for the first time since that game, came to an agreement for an unknown sum out of court.
