I mentioned this in another thread but it has been lost. Nobody appears to have breathed a word about the Geordies it is like they don't exist or they are invisible, that Liverpool have the three points in the bag already. It is all what West Ham will do,all about their ex Liverpool players.

If i was a Newcastle player and fan this would fire me up like nothing else and would make me want to shove their arrogance and writing my club off right down their throats.

Surely someone on here must have an inroad to a player or official at the club, even on twitter, please come on,let's get their professional pride boiling for this one!

Just like when Brendan was going on about how many goals they would score against palace, forgetting they needed to win the game first

Totally agree and lets not forget Andy C is a Geordie too! Talk about arrogance and disrespect...

Our boyz have been here before and they have also experienced disappointment being sooo close in the cup final last year and no one has factored that one in.

Their form is terrible. As much as I'd like them to win, dippers will tear them apart.

If Newcastle park the bus for 70 minutes and let them tire themselves out no reason why they can't win or draw just as Palace did.

That is my feeling but who knows, first they need a reason not to just be cannon fodder, everyone, from the media to Liverpool's players, manager and fans writing them off might just do it.

I was just thinking this. Watched SSN for best part of an hour. We've been at Matty Taylor's house. We've seen Andy Carroll's goals against us.

I've heard Rodgers talk about how great Liverpool have been, how City must win. How West Ham will be up for it.

I've heard Big Sam talking about beating us, Liverpool being the neutrals favourite and how he wants Stevie G to win it.

I've not heard from Pardew, a single Newcastle player, nothing.

It's almost as the Sky & the media want Liverpool to win the league or something..

The best way for us to approach our game is that newcastle playing to lose and villa hellbent in wanting to win.

newcastle can pull a shocker of a fight but if you glance into their fan forums, the support is really not up for a football match. Shame really but to be fair to them they have all the off field drama.

So our best bet is not to ask for any favours and have the mentality for the game as if we are trying to overtake a team with 84 points.
