I am a bit wary about this one, but then that always happens leading up to every game we play. I was there when that back header went over Margetson’s head which led to our relegation to third tier, damaged for life! ;-)

13 goals in 85 games from there for us.

Not just about stats though. He’ll track Targett better than Mahrez would (coming from a Riyad lover) and his ability to attract 2 men and keep the ball every time he gets it on the wing will create space for KDB to whip one onto Haaland’s head.

I think the prime example was Leicester at home in 2017/18 when KDB crossed into Sterling a few minutes in from the exact scenario. Ever since then I noticed it’s a main weapon on having Bernie on the wing.

Nervous about this one personally.

Newcastle at home will see the chance for a scalp given their new-found confidence around the club.

He is, stones was the stronger of the partnership on tge ball and off it in Dias first season, but he replaced the otter and was better than him so he got all the plaudits from both us and the media, stones was the unsung rock of that defensive season though, and he can pass better
Stones just needs a run of games to get that form back, and I’m happy that is starting today. I also think that dropping Ake would be harsh given his fine form since April.

Set pieces Newcastle will be hitting that 10 foot guy so no soft free kicks and let’s hope the referee sticks to the mandate of you can actually touch someone and if they go down it ain’t a foul

We’ve been fantastic in the two previous games and I see nothing about today that makes me think today will be any different.
Newcastle will give it a go and we will pick them apart.
