Already homesick for the South CoastJust watched Eddie Howe on SSN. Is it me, or does he look a bit ropey?
And yes, I know he's had covid, thanks very much.

It'll be a long time before Newcastle will have an adverse effect on either of those two clubs. Doesn't matter how much money they now have, FFP won't allow them to spend beyond a certain amount. Not for me. Hoping for Newcastle going down is akin to supporting the rags and dippers in their efforts to undermine them. Hope they stay up and move the twats down another notch.

Correct.Everton spend like 500m in five years but it does nothing for them so far and there's more likely they are going to Everton route rather than ours.

Newcastle won't be top 4 contenders for 5 years, maybe nearer to 10.If they weren't worried, they wouldn't be changing the rules.
They'll definitely be challenging the top four next year along with West Brom, Stoke and Forest.Newcastle won't be top 4 contenders for 5 years, maybe nearer to 10.
Now now, be nice. They'll definitely be challenging the top four next year along with West Brom, Stoke and Forest.
Stratify is a new word on me. I like your use of it.They need a win tonight or it's going to start to look very difficult. This is probably the toughest Premier League ever. Leeds are a decent side and yet they are 17th. It's difficult to imagine Newcastle finishing above Leeds. They need to pick up before the window so that they are seen to have a credible chance of staying up and can attract 1-2 players to help them.
I hope they get relegated not because I don't like them but if they stay up, I can see them building a side and in 3-4 years we could have a rival...assuming we are still competitive. Newcastle have always had potential. It's amazing that it took so long for the corporate world to realise it but I guess that is the price of FFP. It's designed to stratify the league.
No it won't. You are thinking just about league positions. It is one less yank or yank apologist sat around the premier league table. It'll be a long time before Newcastle will have an adverse effect on either of those two clubs. So the rags, dips and arsenal are your preferred rivals to Newcastle !!They need a win tonight or it's going to start to look very difficult. This is probably the toughest Premier League ever. The 'new owner' rule will allow them to spend over the ffp limit. It'll be a long time before Newcastle will have an adverse effect on either of those two clubs. Doesn't matter how much money they now have, FFP won't allow them to spend beyond a certain amount.
