He's not happy

Eddie Howe should be sacked from Newcastle Utd for his defensive tactics. They suit a promoted club, or a club the size of Bournemouth; they do not suit a club like Newcastle Utd who have quality players in almost every position. They are dropping points against sides in Europe and in the Premier League because of the coach's negative tactics.

Been saying for months they need a new manager to kick on.

I expect it will happen in the summer. Howe will get the England job as he's a yes man that will do as he's told. PIF will them bring in someone like Conte who can actually challenge for a title.

I don't mind Howe, comes across as decent enough in comparison with a few others plying their trade in English football. I do think he's taken Newcastle about as far as he can though.

I think a lot of people underestimate just how good a coach Howe is, probably due to his time at Bournemouth.

The fact they were relegated the season after he left says a lot, IMHO.

Some said he wasn’t good enough to lead Newcastle to a trophy. He answered that last season.

However, all managers, with the very rare exception, have a shelf life at a club, and Eddie might have reached his at the Toon.

Howe is several levels above what Hughes at his best ever was.

100% agree, but I don't think Howe will ever be a manager that is a capable of winning a league title or European trophy.

He will be a Brendan Rodgers. Someone who can win you an FA or League Cup and get you playing decent football.
