News from Spain

Hughes might well want to get rid (obviously he'd never say so publicly), but I don't think the owners will let it happen. I can't see anyone being able to afford to match what we paid for him and I don't believe ADUG are going to make themselves look like tits by selling a huge name at a loss after 1 season.

At the end of the day, they can spout all the "Leslie has the final say" crap, but if he stands in the way of keeping / signing world class players then it won't be long before he gets the boot.

So based on all that, I reckon Robbie will stay this summer. Whether he'll be totally happy about it or not is another matter.

i know robinho can be frustrating to say the least away from home, and sometimes at home, but if we sell him now we might as well put out a press release, making sure the whole football world hears or sees it saying "ok we hold our hands up, we got delusions of grandure, ideas above our stations, whatever. we now know our place and will go back to being little city and we'll never try to better ourselves ever again and certainly never again try to buy players of more than average premiership standard, thank you."

(YAWN) Another fantastic first post. Very sensational, and involving another countries press! Very creative. Did you stay up all night to work on it? Should have worked on your syntax instead of all the creative details (but with those it cannot be fake, can it?)

The disappointing part of this is the three or four who, even though this is clearly false, are using it to continue to their anti-Robinho crusade. Clutching at straws, saying he is unhappy, bad body language, alleged bust-ups, blah, blah, blah. All items which are forms of speculation, yet they take it as the truth because it suits their priorities.

Here we fucking go.

The City "Thought Police " are here again.

Thumping their tubs and claiming to be Loyaller Than Thou.

Oh no, we're not gonna sell some guy who has only turned up for half the games he's played in are we?

... just to wind a few up!

Fact is, if Robinho wants to go then Robinho will go. This is not the end of MCFC.

I would be more sickened if I heard we were selling; Ireland, Richards, Nedum, Kompany, SWP, Bellamy, De Jong, Dunne, Hart, Johnson, Petrov - at this present moment.

He's a quality footballer, but is not up to the strength or speed of the Premiership IMO.

And I cannot wait for everyone to tell me now that I have no idea about football...

I hardly said that you cannot have your own opinions, you are more than welcome to them. Similarly, I am allowed to have an opinion about yours, which as I said is disappointment. It is disappointing to me the way you look for any reason possible to find fault with Robinho, and push for his exit. I have never said I am more loyal and I do not know what a tub is, so I am defiantly not thumping it.
It just seems to me that in the last week, several fans on here have found a means to take a shot at Robbie no matter what the content of the topic. I imagine I could start a thread about mustard, and those fans would find a way to say: "oh, Robinho (and his Brazilian cohorts) do not like Colemans, so there body language is negative and is showing how they want to be out of the club, and good riddins'"

I venture to suggest (fucking brilliant saying btw!), that you know nothing about football.

;P
