After the Eto'o deal fell through (no fault of the club IMO), and now Adebayor is having a rethink and hopefully ain't coming, I wonder which African player the club will go for next. In my mind the main reason for signing Adebayor is that he was African Player of The Year (2008) and is a popular guy over there (like Eto'o) and hence perfect for the club's global target market.

So who's next?

Another typical city fan that the money has got to. would you be saying this 2 years ago about Adebayor. The guy is class and we are already hunting him down. Stuff like this makes me feel sick.

i think the papers will link us to george weah 5 year deal £200,000 a week
then rednapp will come out and say city blew us out of the water
soory pam im a bit slow

Then again, perhaps we need to remember that the Adebayor deal hasn't really fallen through.
