Spuds kick off against the scum at 12:45 and us against Arsenal at 17:30. So we will know the result of the Spuds game when we start.

In my view this is a useful scenario. If Spuds manage to beat the scum - as well they might on both teams' current form then they are looking at 73 points, even if we beat them.

To surpass that, we would need to win ALL of our last 4 games, so we would know we MUST win at Arsenal and we can afford to go balls out for it and sod the consequences.

If Spuds draw or lose at the rags, then we are still in it with a draw or a loss at Arsenal.

Definitely does us a favour playing after Spuds.

Scum should do them as again it suits the scum that they can put pressure on Chelski by playing first, they will be desperate to go into first place.

My thoughts though are that regardless of the Spuds result we need to beat Arsenal so that we are then ahead of spuds going into final week of the season.

A horrific day yesterday but every chance we can turn the tables next Saturday, would be nice if Wigan got something out of game against Arse today just to kill off any lingering hope they had of the title.
