Everyone is entitled to their opinion but, in my view, there is some serious nonsense being talked already on this thread already. Here our my thoughts.
The 'meaningless waiting list' theory is wrong. Hate to say it but the Rags had those as their stadium expanded and they haven't dipped much below capacity since, much as we like to joke about it. It's human nature to want what you can't have.
Further, I was only discussing season cards with my mate the other week. We had them for years [MR/Erihad] but we went abroad at about the same time and so let them go. However, we reason that the stadium expansion will allow for us to get some decent new seasoes, all be it on the dreaded third tier. I am sure that others think the same. Yes, I am of the 'Build it and they will come' faction.
BTW I watched a couple of games on the top of the third tier, which is as high as the seats are likely to go [for now] for the 60-odd k expansion. It was slightly anaemic in terms of atmosphere but you certainly saw the whole game unfold below. It is a bit of a walk though and so I genuinely think that more lifts should be available. Some of us are getting on, you know!
No club in the world ever has or will fill every seat for every match. Anyway, I've pasted the most recent data that I could find. No reason why we can't be up there with Dortmund one day...
