next seasons shirt

This true? A man on the inside?

Interesting about Nike not being in the running, because they would be my first choice, just as most of the kits are fairly simple. I did send some designs to Nike who basically told me to fuck off, but said City would need to contact them if they wanted to be sponsored!? I just thought it was bullshit to stress the fact they wanted me to fuck off, but them not wanting to sponsoring us presumably so as not to upset united?? This is an outrage!!

So I would probably go for Puma, although they really do use 1 of 4 templates for every club they supply, and 3 of those do look like shiny darts shirts.

Some Adidas kits are nice, but most are a bit to garish, Liverpool's and Chelsea's this season are really shit, but they do keep them for two years which is something I would really like us to do.

Umbro but might be alright I suppose, I don't mind the England home shirt which most people don't like, and I specifically like only the collar of Blackburns home shirt also.

It's pathetic that adidas can't design distinctive shirts for the teams they supply, instead producing off the shelf shirts for Liverpool and Chelsea. Also the fact that their kits always, always have three stripes all over them. Surely with the big teams, mere association should be enough for a big supplier like adidas?

Agreed. Truly embarrassing.

I'll go for Puma.

Adidas all the way. Simple kits with a bit of class.
Whats wrong with the three stripes, it's possibly the most recognisable symbol in the world, a statement of absolute quality.
Our home shirt could be like Argentina (obviously without the white panels) It'd be the classiest kit in the country. It'd sell more than ever before. I'd even buy it myself which I haven't done since I was about 15.
In my opinion the three best kits in the world, today and pretty much of all time are Real Madrid, Milan and Argentina. They retain the style and history of the club without being stuck in the past. Adidas would do that for us.

I am slightly biased as I collect Adidas gear. It always has been and always will be number one for me. The number one tean with the number one kit supplier, it's what dreams are made of for me.

Umbro are one of the main offenders for expensive kits.

I had a look at Hull Citys shop when we were there and to be honest I forgot how good quality the Umbro gear is!

Umbro jackets are class though... just not this one though:

It'll be Umbro mate: Garry Cook + Cheadle (local).

I really hope not we were treated like shit by umbro when they went balls out rags !

in many peoples view we had been the main reason umbro survived as a company then some big time charlie took over who was a raging rag.

I got told a story how one of the first things he did was demand a city shirt was taken down from umbros reception area.

our contract with them ended and they were all things red I have never purchased an umbro product since and never will so I hope anybody but umbro !

Nike without a doubt...top dog! Would sell shit loads more shirts and classier than other shirts! Dread to think what Puma will look like!!??

If we land Kaka, maybe it would be adidas. Kaka wears their boots and is one of the main faces of adidas. Other big players that wear adidas and have their team kit supplied by them - Gerrard (Liverpool), Beckham (LA Galaxy), Raul (Real Madrid), Ballack (Chelsea).

Just a notion I have in me head.

I preferred the white with navy stripes from 95 (???) top quality[/quote]

Still got mine... Although the collars are a bit big... As is the badge!

really that'd be about the only thing that would make me like an adidas kit: Kaka thrown in as part of the deal. Adidas have the design flair of a retarded electrical engineer.

Care to explain how the massive deal that Ronaldinho had with Nike didn't stop him moving to Milan?

No-one's mentioned the interest from Under Armour from a few months ago.

The Daily Mail report tonight that it'll probably have Etihad splahed across it. Somebody mentioned it on here last night i think, something about sorting out with Chelsea to get out of some sort of arrangement there?

Can't speak for Ronaldinho, but like I said, it was just something that ran through me head.
