It doesn’t work that way. The NFL is a closed league in that players don’t have anywhere else to go. It also has a salary cap. It also has the convenience of the the universities to serve as a proving ground/finishing school for young talent.

The fact that the Green Bay Packers are on the same footing financially as the New York Giants is what makes the NFL so compelling. It’s not often you get back to back Super Bowl winners/participants. Having said that the KC Chiefs are basically thst because they have the tremendous QB Patrick Mahomes but they have been astute enough to draft wisely and be able to put the pieces around him. It’s not easy to do. They lost some very good players due to free agency yet they replaced them and haven’t missed a beat.
 
Seeing as I’ve only seen the Cowboys and Lions live it’ll have to be one of them and I might as well be a glory hunter. Lions for me from now on.

The commanders had a ridiculous pass interference cal on Sunday night against St Juste. The receiver just fell backwards

It’s pretty frustrating. I also don’t care for the first down and sack celebrations. Touchdowns, absolutely. Do whatever. But you just had a seven yard catch when you needed five and you’re still on your own 32? Spare me acting like you just won the Super Bowl.

Lions. They play in blue and have been pretty much shite for, well forever and have started to pick up in the last few seasons. Cowboys/Patriots - Rags, Chiefs - Scousers.

I'm pretty sure I'll never see the Dolphins in a Superbowl :-(

Dolphins had a good side mid eighties with Marino qb, and some good receivers in Clayton Duper and Moore but I can’t see this side emulate that team. They were my second team after the Redskins as Marino was real quality
Unfortunately I think the Ravens or Chiefs will win it this year but I would like the lions to do it for the first time
 
Randomly stumbled across a film called 'Draft Day' last night, I will let you all work out what the film is about! Thought it was a decent watch.

There is that, plus the more he plays, the more his weaknesses and strengths become obvious. The NFL is an unforgiving league, especially when it comes to breaking down QBs.

I think Washington are going to come unstuck because of their defence. Saying that, they have a fairly easy schedule this year.

Jonathan Allen will be a miss miss on defense . Luvu and Wagner are top players but the ravens ran through us like a hot knife through butter. Offensively we look better , 3 decent running backs and McLaurin atWR. Need another decent receiver and Ertz at tight end is ok too as a stop gap. Anything better than last season will do me as it will be progress. Zonal defense is a mystery to me I’d be happier with man to man coverage

That's how I became a long suffering Dolphins fan, watching Dan Marino on a Sunday evening on channel 4. He was ahead of his time & would have a field day playing today when you can barely touch a QB

Had a huge poster of Marino on my wall as a kid, loved Ace Ventura which introduced me to do the Dolphins. We're very mid 00s City at the minute. Great one minute, dogshit the next. I also thought I'd never see City win anything so there's always hope. Ravens look very good. Chiefs won't keep scraping wins.

Chiefs scrape wins every year & are similar to Penrith Panthers in the NRL. Think the Ravens will win especially now they have Henry as RB. It's whether they can keep him & Jackson health come the play offs
