NFL Draft 2013-14 (City Related) UPDATE page 21.

Re: NFL Draft & Menelik Watson (City Related)

I see CBS gave that pick an 'A' grade.

I really hope Menelik does well and if he goes on to become a star, he can spread the Blue message further than we could have otherwise hoped for.

The (then LA) Raiders won the first Superbowl I ever watched; XVIII against the Redskins, and it was a masterclass in Defence, with the two Cornerbacks, Lester Hayes and Mike Haynes absolutely outstanding that night. So I have had a soft spot for them ever since.

I'm pretty pleased with the Dolphins' draft. Though I don't really know a lot about the players we've selected, they seem to be of a high quality and will start immediately or provide stiff competition for the current starters.

Miami finally seems to be getting its act together and hopefully, we'll be back in contention again soon.

Can´t say that I got more than a rudimentary knowledge of NFL but of course we all know that it´s the number one sport over there.

So good luck Menelik

Wish we hadn't changed our logo to that crap one that looks like it should be on the toilets at sea world. I think we still have a fair way to go before we can seriously challenge The Pats as regular play off contenders.

So do I, OABAAB, but I would like to think we can make a real push for a Wild Card spot, at least.

Tannehill proved that, while he still has a long way to go, he is willing and able to learn and he improved immensely as last season went on.

Joe Philbin seems to be a decent coach, and we have been recruiting young players, who will grow into the franchise, hopefully.

Good article reference Menelik on the OS,

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/Club-news/2013/May/Oakland-Raiders-player-Menelik-Watson-interview-part-II" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/Club-news/20 ... ew-part-II</a>

Really seems a top fella and loves City, hope he is a massive success in the NFL and will be watching out for the Oakland Raiders from now on.
