Why not get it done on bupa or were you daft enough to tell them about it before you joined?

No they hate the idea of making money so pre existing medical conditions are fixed on entry

We need to confine this loony institution to the dust bin of british history!

How about we close down all private health funds and pump the money into the nhs, so that everyone gets the same health care, regardless of wealth?

Absolutely.
It's scandalous that poor people can get the life saving medical treatment they need free at the point of access.
You fucking nouveau riche Cheshire prat.
Spot on fetlocks.

I doubt these NHS bashers would be so loud when they're having their prize Audi or worse still home repossessed because they tripped over on the way home from work one day.

But people with private health care still pay taxes and NI

Indeed they do, but i believe that the level of healthcare and education you receive should not depend on how much you or mummy and daddy earn. Idealistic, i know.

Im confused to as what your getting at. Do you mean we should pay more in to the system or if you have money than the money you would spend on private should be given to the NHS.
My mummy and daddy earnt fuck all but I have private health care through my company and still use the NHS.
Interested to your way of thinking on how it would be done

I'm a pragmatist on this, because we don't live in an ideal world.
Those with money will always be able to afford better everything than those who don't,and health care is no exception,so let them go to BUPA if they can afford it.
It's one less person for the NHS to treat.
But we should also,as a civilised society, maintain a well funded and adequately trained and staffed NHS for the majority of folk who, through no fault of their own,get sick and don't have the safety net of a private policy.

NHS bashing has always seemed a popular past time for everyone. All I have ever known is bad news about NHS rarely hear about the good stuff they do. Yet they do millions of great things every year and care for a great deal more with little praise

No idea, it just seems to me that a wealthy country can and should provide a decent health service, if that means higher taxes, so be it.

Idealistic, again.
