Reet lads, there have been lots of negative threads (ive made a few..) over the past week, but theres lots to be positive about. We have Kompany back, United are hilariously gash and although I doubt it'll be the case for much longer, we are in all four comps. KDB, Nasri, Navas and Bony are going to return over the next month or so to revitalise our squad. And no matter what happens this season we are getting Pep and basically unlimited funds next season :). We have been through much harder times, we would have loved our problems now back then.

I made a really shit post the other day about clearing out 'the old guard', this was ridiculous and I apologise, I love this club, I love our fans and we have some very exciting time ahead. COME ON CITTTTY!!!
 
I was with you until you made the correlation between Bony's return and the word positivity.

Just kidding, great post. No matter what the haters say about us this season we can always fire back with "yeah but we've got Pep."

I did contemplate removing Bony from the list but it beefed it up nicely haha. Yeah the 'but we've got Pep' reply is just bloody brilliant aint it mate :).

Many threads started are just rehashes of old ones and the one you started has been covered numerous times on numerous other threads with both related and non related headings so I wouldn't be too harsh on you or anyone and neither would the mods other than merging it with the most related thread started earlier so if you are to be criticised its for that reason as opposed to the subject matter which will be and should be discussed regardless of our form , results and position in the table and who our next manager is.

In truth we do need an overhaul and I would be very surprised if we don't see the most number of new faces in our starting line up next season since the takeover.

This year we had 3/4 and I suspect it will be at least 4 probably as many as six next season.

With a new manager and no FFPR we will go all out to bring in the best talent available to improve our squad which it has to as many of our opposition will do likewise with the money available to them now.

We know now that more sides will have a chance to win the title than ever before , perhaps this season will see a new side win the title for the first time in their history or for the first time in over 50 years or in 12 years.

This will become the norm and we need to get much better at recruitment and how we manage the squad than we have and I am confident we will as those not up to the task will quickly be brushed aside at all levels of the club.
 
its all very well and good spouting about positivity, but none of the misery merchants on here are gonna post and this thread will drop like a utd fan in a pub skirmish!!

on a brighter note, we do have reason to be cheerful with vinny back and still hanging on to the chances of winning the league by a whisker - we wont do though so thats all academ.......(sorry, the left side of my brain kicked in for a second there, ive just thrown it a gif image of a cat chasing a laser light along a wall and falling off a bed trying to catch it - that'll shut it up for a few minutes)

And the small matter of adding a trophy next week with the added bonus of putting an end to both bin dippers dreams in the process
