For too long now, City have had managers that are too nicey nicey and stay out of verbal attacks from other clubs - PEARCE - ERICSSON - HUGHES - MANCINI all stay clear and dont give anything back.

DIGNITY - Where does it get you in this instance? NOWHERE!!!!!

Mancini wants to man up and give it back to these half witted bullies ie Baconchops, Gollum, Bruce etc

To Moyes, he wants to turn round and say

"The Everton manager need not concern himself about my players but worry about getting his team qualified for the Europa League and leave the Champions league qualification to the bigger clubs"

We are percieved to being the ruin of world football so why not be mean to go with it.

Prior to the Derby , Mancini

I was thinking about this the other day, that successful teams seem to be hated, their managers seem to be hated, and their players seem to be hated.

However, I'd rather we didn't follow that trend, leave that lot to their mind games and we'll just focus on City.

Whilst of course I want our managers and players to be winners, i'd rather they were sporting and gracious about it to be honest.

Booby Robson, Joe Mercer, Bob Paisley, Bill Shankley didn't go round badmouthing people and they have left a legacy of universal respect throughout football.

Particularly in light of the 34 years that have passed since you last won a trophy.

Do you not think this maybe down to him not having a varied english vocabulary?

Like previous posts have said, every manager can spout their mouth off about this that and the other but football matches are won in pre/post match interviews or press conferances.

We're hated enough for having all this brass, just wait till the trophies start rolling in and then every fucker will have something to say!!!

I have responded to half a dozen threads on the current invasion by EFC and upto the January fixture I was quite light-hearted by events and personnel at EFC, and supported their efforts in Europe, but following the manager's proggy notes in that match, I have withdrawn the diplomatic mission as far as Moyes is concerned. I think the way he wrote in his notes, and the unwelcoming tone, was quite shameful. I wrote to him complaining of the same - I still await a reply. So, no, I wouldn't want our Bobby Manc to adopt the FergusonWengerMoyes approach to fixtures. There is another way, and it needn't involve snarling, spitting venom and bile. Leave that to Moyes, he's good at it.
 
Rise above it, no need for Mancini to act with the same lack of class as Moyes.
 
I agree, being nice gets you hardly anywhere these days. No fucker likes us anymore coz we're wedged up, so we might as well be a club of cunts. Lets start giving referees a mouthfull if they're shite, lets bully opposition managers until they're shit scared of playing us, lets start playing dirty and getting away with it. As nice as it would be to get success by being nice, its much easier and effective to do it the dirty way.

Leave them to it. Moyes has zero class but gets by by throwing out the 'we're hard done by' line which Sky and any other media source seem to lap up.

Fuck em, let other managers and journalists conduct their interviews/columns using complete generalisations and half truths. We don't need to rise to it. We're a top club with top players and a top manager.
