apparently Fran Gonzalez is joining the club in a role in the academy, and will be followed by his son Nico next year, from Barcelona.

very highly rated by them and judging by twitter they are not happy to be losing him.
 
It's always annoyed me that Jesus Navas González chose to be known by his other surname.

He didn't "choose" it, it's just how it's done in Spain. Navas would be his fathers first surname and Gonzalez his mothers first surname. T

Same with nearly all Spanish players.
