Based on some of the comments here, this lad will have my backing no matter what, as long as it takes. We have become a truly spoiled bunch. Some on here think they know better than Pep and Txiki. Yes, I know they don't always get it right, but 99% they do.Bloody hell, lads, shall we let him settle before we turn on him.
He only has so many jumpers dont know why people dont get thatThe Txiki ride mate, you know the rules when you get in the car.
We have tracked him since he was 14, but he is a panic buy. Don't think your facts will change anyone's mind ;).
Which had a part in leading to the acl injury in my opinion.why not we expected it before acl
Can he play RB or DM?This is the guy we could have done with a few years agoView attachment 145401
I'm not sure why people aren't more positive about this - seems to tick all of the boxes and eerily similar to the Dias move. He's technically good enough as a baseline which is something you can't say for Nunes or Phillips - elite in the air, able to play and influence the game as an 8, tall and rangy which should help with those loose balls etc.
I don’t think it’s a panic buy, but for me is he better than what we have and will he push us onto the next level? A bit like with the unproven centre backs I’m not convinced. We have tracked him since he was 14, but he is a panic buy. Don't think your facts will change anyone's mind ;).
He's going in nets. Obviously. Can he play RB or DM?
Well you're a real bundle of joy aren't ya Dom? ;-)The real fucking kicker is that we could have done this a month ago and he’d already be settled in and familiar with the team going into this run of awful fixtures.
Instead we seem to have wasted a month with bids that weren’t going to be accepted before paying the release clause amount anyway, and by the time he’s found his feet our season will probably be over.
Absolutely he is - I don't think it can be understated how bad Gundogan and Kovacic have been from a defensive perspective. Just having somebody physical that's 11 years younger than Gundo is a boostI don’t think it’s a panic buy, but for me is he better than what we have and will he push us onto the next level? A bit like with the unproven centre backs I’m not convinced.
I’d argue if everyone’s fit and in form he doesn’t get into the strongest midfield
