No Big Name Rumours?

Anybody else suprised with just over 24 hours left in the January transfer window the tabloids haven't gone into overdrive with the possibility of a big name player signing for a huge sum of money? The Villa/Henry/Drogba rumours have all gone very quiet. Nothing from Mr Cook recently since the whole Kaka fiasco. Do you think a surprise deal will go through before 5pm tomorrow? Would you be happy with the transfer window signings if no "superstar" was signed this window?

I get the feeling that alot of people have signed up on here in the hope we sign a superstar.

if we don't there are going to be some serious tantrums. I expect a few to go way over the top as well and slag off the players we have signed.

Seriously nobody should get their hopes up. If it happens then great but it really isn't the end of the world if we don't. it is quite likely in my opinion that tomorrows transfer saga will be RSC.

ill make a rumour just to satisfy you all.
Today at 7 oclock it will be announced that we have signed Shay given.
Then later on in the night we will be strongly linked with a DM.
Then tommorow we will sign the midfielder and a big name striker.
