To be honest the form of both Rooney and Torres is so shite i am dubious about them both.

Think Chelski will go for Torres anyway and leave us to spunk the stupid money on the granny shagger.

Get everything pretty much agreed with Rooney (and keep the press informed where negotiations are up to, etc so that the scum are fully aware that their crown jewel would jump ship to ickle city)

Pull out of the deal in late December (once Utd's season really has fallen to bits)

Openly admit our interest in an unsettled El Nino and "do an Everton" and announce a £25m bid for him to the media.

We end up with a knock down Torres and Utd end up with a fat, scouse, washed up Rooney who is despised by his own fans.........

Torres wont come to City - think its too close to Loserpool - more likely to go down to Chelski and play chumps league which he wont be playing anytime soon with Loserpool

Granny shagger has played in the chumps league and won pretty much everything - coming to us if indeed he does is financial with the hope he can win something

Dzeko won't sell shirts, sponsorship or tickets so we won't get him, we need to get in the champs league and from now on we will sign players who I suspect can add to our top line as well as our bottom line. We will almost certainly if we are top 3 go very hard for Rooney or Torres in Jan.

Take one look at Torres playing at the moment and you can see a player who would practically go to Tranmere if it meant getting away from where he is!

I wish people would stop calling Torres shit and injury prone. He is 1 of the best strikers in the world when fully fit, and the reason he is never fit is because Liverpool rush him back because they rely on him. He was never fit last season because of this but still managed to get 18 league goals. That shows how good the guy is.

All this talk of Dzeko being the player we need is bollocks, he is massive overrated by a lot of people on here. If he was a world class striker or a very good striker with massive potential then why is he still at Wolfsburg? Surely a big club would have bought him now if hes as good as people on bluemoon say he is. Yes Juve wanted him but would they pay the fee? No because he wasnt worth it. For £35,000,000 i know who id rather have between Rooney and Dzeko.

If i had a choice of the 3 id take Torres all day long but i cant see that happening now as he would cost a lot more than Rooney would because the fact he has said he wants to leave. Also with Liverpool getting new owners in they dont need to sell him for the money so the only chance of him coming is if he says he wants to leave and if Chelsea dont go after him because i believe he would go there instead of us.

Rooney isnt in the same league as Torres imo but hes a long way ahead of Dzeko and add to the fact that he is proven in the premiership which means there is no risk that he wouldnt be a good signing and that we would have to rely on Tevez as we are now.

Also it would piss off the rags ;)
