As disappointed/distraught/pissed off/apathetic I am about that performance last night, I reckon we're still on for fourth.

Rather than look at results in isolation, if you go back over the last month and say seven points from the four games against Chelsea, Fulham, Sundy, and Everton, we'd take it.

Tottenham are two points ahead on even games, but have a horrow draw. Villa are dropping points left right and centre, and Liverpool... enough said.

Keep the faith. Or, start another thread criticising Santa Cruz, £10 tickets, Mancini's scarf, or the kitman. Whatever.

And can the Everton fans please fuck off our forum now. Ta.

I didn't expect us to beat Fulham, so can't say I'm overly disappointed with 3 points out of 6 against two top 10 teams.

I still think 70 points will be enough, whether we get there is a different matter..............

Dead right Wheelsy. And they can fuck off with that cheating Ozzie Shithouse Cahill too.

I'm not even disappointed/distraught/pissed off with the performance, just the result. I thought we played alright.

I am very, very grateful that villa are doing a good job of blowing their easy home games.

very grateful that spurs have the distraction of the fa-cup.

very grateful that liverpool are lagging behind.

very grateful that we have some easy-ish games to get some confidence and points before the big boys start turning up at COMS

very grateful that Ade's back next week, Petrov maybe the week later, Bridge maybe for the derby.

very grateful indeed that Jolean should make it back for the last few games.

and I'm very grateful that we have only one game a week, until the final week of the season, Viera has to start every week as far as I am concerned.

most of all I am grateful for the boy Tevez, how he can keep working so hard, even when others aren't pulling their weight.. it is a thing of beauty

In reality we would have expected defeat at Chelsea and so the surprising 3 points we gained there were lost last night. The bigger picture tells us that we are no worse off points wise than we would have realistically expected 4 games ago but what concerns me is do we have a team of bottlers? Are we happy playing catch up but as soon as its up to us to take the bull by the horns "typical City" comes back into the fray? I guess we will know for sure in 8 games time, I still believe that it is ours to lose but that will only make it even more disappointing if we dont get 4th!

I only had us down for a draw last night anyway. So in that respect it's only 1 point dropped and certainly not the end of the world.

But we putting unncessary pressure on ourselves with the remaining games. To get the 69 points I think we need, we are going to have to take near maximum points from all of our remaining home games - Wigan, Birmingham, Villa, Spuds and the rags. At least 10 points from those or we can forget it. It's going to be tough.

One positive - Villa's draw at home to Sunderland. :-)
