Anyone see him at the match today? I was talking to him as he was walking towards the ground when i'd just left the fernhurst. He said he fancied us to win and hoped that Adebayor was fit. I asked him where he was sat and he didn't know as he was going to pick his ticket up, had a bit of a joke with him and said i hope you're paying £35 like us let and he said of course i don't get any tickets free

Look, given the way Adebayor was last season with Arsenal I don't think any fans could be blamed for doubting his commitment to his club. But if he plays like he did today then he will win fans over.

at the end of the day Adebayors poor season at arsenal still meant he scored 15+ goals. He is a quality player they are gutted to of left

I agree with what you say Goatfeeder. In view of the fact that Arsenal fans were nearly throwing parties when he left I worry about him, though today he's made a good start.

As for Mr Gallagher I am impressed he went to the game and he's entitled to be as contradictory as any other fan.

He was stood near me, block p row 29 about 150 something. He said he'd never forget today.....he said he'd been waiting years to watch a football game with me, i told him it was a one off and he was cramping my style. Joking aside though he seemed ok, a bit shy when the lads around us started signing a few oasis songs ha ha.

he's one of the lads at the end of the day. He might have loads more money like but we're all supporting the same team. good on him.
