Noisy Radiators.

This place is going to the dogs.cant believe we are two pages in and no one has accused the op of being boy George and having someone handcuffed to them.

It wil be okay at 1 bar but might have caused problems if running a lot at say 0.5 bar or below. The normal working pressure is 1.5bar but will depend on the model. What bar is the "bottom of the green"? There's usually a red danger zone below and above green.

Thanks for the info, I nicked this picture from online so dont worry about the dial in the red, mine was pretty much in the gap between bottom of the green and the red at the bottom. its now slap bang in the middle of the green.

Can't beat a good radiator/central heating thread.

I fixed a dodgy thermo valve the other week and was well pleased with myself.

OP needs to bleed said rads. I do it most winters and start with nearest to boiler before going all round the house. Top up pressure when done then whack heating on high for an hour or so.
