Just asking do people on here drink these type of drinks rather than the real stuff, or would you consider these as an alternative in the future. Not much difference in price but a lot better for your health in the long term.

Do you mean 0% Peroni, Lucky Saint etc i.e nasty copies of existing alcoholic drinks or just non alcoholic drinks in general like lemon and lime soda, water etc?

They are an excellent social alternative and seem to be improving in taste. They are usually low cal, too, which helps in addition to the no alcohol.

As someone who is often the designated driver, and for whom alcohol can be a work-related problem, I find them to be an excellent way of socializing without the negative effects of alcohol. Yes, they lack the “social lubricant” effect that alcohol has on some situations, but the trade off is well worth it in my opinion.

In short, for me, they can be a very good alternative, if not necessarily the 100% change solution.

mcfc okay.

errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrm
nope.
next question?

Had a few non-alcoholic IPAs recently as a couple of my brothers are sober. They're fine if you're around people who can't drink. I wouldn't buy them for the fridge or anything, especially since they seem to cost full freight.

Drank non alcoholic beer some years ago due to liver problems. It was awful but the 0% Peroni I had recently was ok.
