That's getting on for in excess of £200m in the space of a year!

We've spent about a quarter of that sum!

I don't think they've finished spending either.
 
Carroll will not suit the system or style of play Rodgers will try to implement.

Agent_ITK on twitter has said Borini is on his way to Liverpool for £8 Million. Absolute twat of a name to give yourself and I know, twitter but in my experience this guy gets a lot right. Taken with a pinch of salt as it may just be 2+2 as Borini was with Rodgers at Swansea. Good player though, and if it does come to fruition, it just decreases Carroll's chances of being there next year. As always, taken with a pinch of salt.
 
I've seen quite a few links between Liverpool and Borini

And Baines to Utd for £16m is on back page of Star along with Adebayor to Spurs for £6m
