Went to see alto play yesterday - young lad called Duncan Watmore (son of former fa chairman Ian) caught my eye, 18 and by far the best player on the pitch - link below

There is plenty of talent in non league football, it's just a case sometimes of getting a lucky break.

Didn't John stead/Jimmy Bullard come from non league football?
I know they didn't set the world alight but they both ended up in the PL.

Maybe not Non League talent but there is a couple of players from Irish league football who have gone onto playing regular Premier League football. Shane Long , Seamus Coleman and James McClean all went from Irish football to Premier league. Looking at it and I can see Paddy Madden from Yeovil making a move up the leagues and he might end up playing for a Premier league team in the future. Just think he will move up to play Championship football at some stage next season as hes already score 17 or 18 goals in the league below so its a move that will happen. And at 22 is young enough to still make his way up to the top in my opinion.

An update on Watmore, who has now signed for Sunderland. He seems to have his head screwed on and is combining his career with finishing his degree.
