(Non-obvious) City players you didn't like

Andy Cole. Didnt sit comfortably me him wearing blue.

Tony Vaughan. Woeful, and a massive united fan. Half the time they could have pulled someone out of the crowd who'd have done a better job, hence my hatred probably stems from the fact I didnt think he deserved to earn the money he did.

Nicky Weaver. Thought he was Billy Bigtime, often saw him Lording it up. Maybe it was just he was young and needed to grow up.

I used to have an irrational dislike of Gary Megson years ago. Gangly, uninspiring, boring. Bit harsh probably, he never did anything wrong really
Or right

A lot of the players mentioned here made a good contribution .... even if they were lower-league, ex-ManU etc...

And Tueart was lucky with his overhead kick at Wembley. Well, that's better than being lucky with your overhead kick in the local park!

McManaman. His first home game against Villa he was obviously trying and he was brilliant. I don't think he got out of breath again for us and he complete lack of effort was an absolute disgrace. What a proper c**t he was and is. Waster.

the lad we paid way over the odds for from ipswich..tony vaughan. dont recall him having one good game for us.

fucking ousmane dumbo, must of seen fellow frenchman claude makelele playing the holding role and thought i'll have a go at that but failed at it big style. still no excuse for what sir joseph of barton (another prick who i thought was mint in my younger days.) did to him though in training.

in our current lot i've got to go for adam johnson, decent player but reminds me of the kid on the school footy team who thought he was the best in the world. no doubt helps to be cocky as a pro but you need to back it up on a constant basis.

I think I'm part of a minority that liked pretty much every player we've ever had.

The only 'obvious' ones I don't/didn't like have played for us since we got money. Bridge and Sturridge for differing reasons. Didn't rate Bridge, ever. Hated Sturridge due to his greediness, the way idiotic fans thought he'd keep us in 2007 and how he believed he was THAT good at such a young age. The lad's a tosser.

Didn't mind Mills until he started taking the piss in his 3rd-4th year of his contract. Loved Tiatto and Bellamy and Barton until he started turning into a wanker. Was never keen on Benjani but that was more because of his ability, same with Thatcher.

Mike Summerbee

The reasons are personal and a long story but due to this and seeing him in his real light i cant stand him. At least i know where his intolerable son gets it from.

dickov - as said already but for that goal he'd mean nothing to this club

Alfie haaland absolutely hated him just because you give some blues refunds for charlton away and you hate united doesnt wash with me you were cack and it was a disgrace that he was captain barely broke sweat when he played for us thinking he was a dominant midfielder do one dick you weent round like a pensioner on the pitch

Not so much the players themselves but what they stood for that I didn't like. The certain knowledge that whilst they were playing for us we'd never be any good

Dickov - I breathed a huge sigh of relief when we finally sold him only to re-sign him later.

Ian Brightwell - I played in a five-a-side league in Congleton when he was about 14 and one of the teams had David and Ian playing for them. I was told that they were brilliant City youngsters but when we beat them I realised they were actually shit. When they broke into the first team and Ian became a stalwart of the side I realised just how shit we were.

Dickson Etuhu i hate with a vengence and still do to this day. Left City to be billy big balls and go play for preston, think it might have been moyes who signed him but fucking preston over city come on. Anyway he was a bit shit there and after a while got shifted on to Norwich when they were crap so thats me happy as city were back in the premiership by this time and he had no chance of seeing it. All was going well untill the last day of the transfer window when of all people roy the gypsy buys him for sunderland and he got his move to the premiership to my disappointment. Few years past and he got his move to Fulham and managed to sneak his way into playing in a europa league final. Unbelievable how he pulled that trick off. Average player not crap by any means but the one person i have actively followed there career from a young age not based on talent but a grudge and hoped would never make it to the top has somehow did it. Winning the league makes me feel a little better but still he has played in a european final

I think those knocking Adam Johnson should go back and look at the seasons goals, not only did he score a few he contributed to quite a few, considering how many times he either started or came off the bench he more than earned his champions medal.

Surely, it's players we don't like because of who they are and not entirely what they do on the pitch.
I think the main point is that people think he's an arrogant prick, i like him though.

Andre, mother, fucking Kanchelskis

On Par with Danny Mills, after he had sponged off our payroll for years I remember him just before he left being a pundit before one of our games (maybe Europa can't remember) and he kept saying "they" when referring to City

Probably not warranted but even his head annoys me
