The Norks might well be fooked. China's largest trading partner is the USA. Losing $400 thousand million a year might not sit well with the Chinese if things go incredibly badly.
China, the U.S., Japan and, of course, South Korea might knock the Norks' dick in the dirt in short order. Would Russia have the inclination to get involved? It is never good to have a madman in the neighbourhood.

I think it's down to some reports that US intelligence believe that North Korea has miniaturised a nuclear warhead.
Not sure if the reports are true but it's enough to raise concerns in the US.
