The point I was making is that the design of the two extensions is different from a structural pov due the lack of space at the south end

I sometimes wonder that some City fans aren’t realising how good the team is, instead they criticise the colour of the seats. OK, we can’t compete with the OT waterfall, but we are trying our best FFS!

Not really the case. The footprints of the stands themselves aren’t all that different and the ‘space’ didn’t impact the design of the corners in any way.

Very busy on site today, just a few snaps to share.
Sorry, decided not to take this week off. Sunday is looking good. Sunny, light clouds, 19 degrees. I’m going to do a city centre construction update, so I’ll park the car in the Etihad car park, and take some pictures of the North stand. I’ll post the pictures on the thread on Monday.

I think we should have them ugly coloured seats we had in the North Stand at Maine Road.

They are building the cantilevered platform around the eastren tower anchor point as well now.
