Won't City just install the rail seating on level one of the north stand? Shift all the families up to the expanded second tier?
Family stand is seemingly staying as it is in both tier 1 and tier 2. Not sure if they’ll change the branding of it though in the current tier 2 section.

It didn't do us much fucking good for 35 years did it?The old Kippax was legendary, a solid wall of sound along the touchline. Home players revelled in it, away players hated it. Do not underestimate the value to the team of a blue wall.

Be realistic. Dortmunds yellow wall was never going to happen. We have to compromise. Potentially 4,000 all stood up at the other end of the ground could improve the atmosphere significantly.You’ll have to send us some pics of your view when you move there. I don’t expect you to admit you were wrong.
Ultimately it’s still a great development and will look amazing. Huge positive that more fans will get to go to the bigger matches as well.
This isn’t going to be an atmospheric ‘home end’ though no matter what anyone says and there will be complaints about the atmosphere all next season and how the new stand didn’t fully take advantage of the opportunity it presented.
Just my take and can’t wait to see how awesome it looks when finished :)

Most likely the back few rows. Seems the only logical place really.
Extremely concerned by the fact there is not a single mention of new seasontickets in that article. Can't help but think that City are following their policy of not releasing any new seasontickets at all since 2020, which has seen our ST numbers fall by thousands. Even worse, they may plan to shove a ton of "flexi-Gold seasontickets" in there, which is a scam in itself as it is simply not a season ticket, they should be taken to trading standards over it. Who would have thought a club would see having less season ticket holders as a positive move!
Also interesting that they give a specific figure of 500 for the new corporate area, but refuse to for the "significant under 21 section". Feels like another disappointment they're hiding, in place of what could've been a really positive overall development. Rail seating is great, but without seasonticket holders who'll be there every game and the next generation of Blues being encouraged to attend, it's not going to do the wonders for the atmosphere that it could've.
