North Stand - fans being moved for "City Hall" GA+ section

No there aren't.

How many home matches have completely sold out so far this season? United, Liverpool.....

There will be another 8000 seats to fill next year.

I don't see 8000 extra City fans jumping at the opportunity to fill those seats on a regular match by match basis.(unless the club comes up with more affordable ticket prices)

They didn't sell out for the Liverpool, United or Bournemouth game, i know because there were empty seats behind me in the south stand.

It's been suggested on another thread that the club monitor this forum. Has anyone considered that these proposed/rumoured GA+ seats at the back of NS level 0 are as a result of the club reacting to all the negativity about how GA+ at the front of level 1 would look poor and kill any attempts to generate atmosphere (that's not to say the club aren't still going ahead with level 1 GA+, and they have seen an opportunity to convert other areas as well).
Either way, still feel the way it has been communicated Has been poor and with no real forethought or compassion to existing supporters affected.

I'd find that very hard to believe myself. If they had, given it was also a bone of contention when the groups met the club, surely they would champion having made that change 'as a result of listening to fans', rather than partly hinting at something in a vague statement..

Which would suggest this is in addition to the level 1 GA+ and Crossbar area ????

You dont know that and we will only find that out when it opens
Now read my.post again and stop putting your interpretation on peoples post .
I have stated I believe that City would rather have less than a full Stadium paying the price's they want to charge than the present model.
They will be more than happy if they are getting between 55 and 60000 next season and if they get 5 or 6 matches sold out.
And as long as they are successful, people will pay the money.
Perhaps not the people, you or I would like to see there, but that matters not a jot,to the bean counters.

But then those 500 need relocated into the new free zones.
Sorry, I'm being thick - but what do you mean by free zone - I meant in my op that they drop for example into the first non-premium seats behind where they were ( in the newly built bit ). Is that what you meant too?

That’s what we want to happen , but those that don’t fancy it, should be able to choose where they go.
Sure, but they can then relocate same as everyone else can. I'm obviously making the big assumption that the seats they relocate to are slightly behind or similar to their existing seats.

The City fan base is now a broad Church, the Club has embraced that, it seems whatever they do is met with derision by some, there needs to be a balance.
Yea you’re right it’s embraced wealthier fans, tourists and often away fans. A lot of the time though it’s completed forgotten about the core working class fanbase.

We’ve had ridiculous ticket prices rises, pretty much every year, fans being forced out of seats and the ever increasing expansion of corporate areas. Of course it’s going to be met with derision.

Fans aren’t going to embrace being forced out and why should we?

No sorry, I misunderstood, my mistake. Yeah makes sense.

My two Penneth worth.

I think the original GA+ seats will remain on NSL2, as well as the new hospitality seats at the back of NSL1.

I think the club are doing everything they can to maximise match day revenue from the expanded North stand.

I expect quite a few new initiatives and announcements to be made by the club as we get closer to the expanded North stand opening.

I’m really interested to see what ideas and match day packages the club come up with for the hotel.

I think there will always be empty seats for every game with people not turning up for one reason or another.

Even the likes of United, Liverpool, Arsenal, etc have empty seats.

Correct but these seats behind me have been empty now for two consecutive home games.

London hotel prices are higher than Manchester hotel prices, so that has to be factored into the prices.

Still plenty of availability.

Stamford Bridge Hotel, London.

Nov the 30th.

Chelsea at home to Arsenal. 4:30pm.

According to transfermarkt we've averaged 52,326 over the 6 PL games out of a current capacity of 52,900. That's 99% attendance, whether or not whoever bought those seats turns up.

My son's pal is a Liverpool fan. We spotted him outside the ground on Sunday a couple of hours before kick-off.

He had £90 and was willing to wait until kick-off to see if him and the Dippers he met up with could cadge tickets.

They got a row of eight in the family stand upper level for the ninety notes each.

How the hell a tout has eight on a complete row is beyond me?
and yet here's me (season ticket holder) trying to get a couple of Sunderland game tickets for my cousin and his kid to come and watch city for the 1st time in their lives and been told no.
