Me and my brother gave our season tickets to mates because of work commitments for last nights game, then i switched things around and it turned out we could go so i got us tickets in the North Stand. Im not having a go, im just interested, is it always like that?! I saw a few people listening to ipods, couples huddled up with one asleep, i could hear constant chatting about "the plasterboard we bought last week" and sky plus advantages.... i know it wasnt the greatest game ever but it seemed a bit odd. I know its the "family stand" but you'd think it would be the kids who's attention might drift but from what i saw the kids were well into it and it was the adults who's minds were elsewhere. I just dont see the point of spending money on tickets. At one point i was told to sit down because i stood up when we scored! Fair enough, the couple behind me were oldish but we had just scored! Like i said, im not having a go, the whole stadium seemed pretty muted, but is the north stand always like this?

yup....i moved from the north stand to 111 about 3 years ago.....the best bit about the north stand was the generous middle aged couple in front of me used to bring a flask of coffee, a bottle of brandy and 1/2 a dozen kitkats ;)

Like you say the whole ground was like that last night...........................

I have sat in block 239 (family stand) for 2 years with my kids. Everyone around me is dead into the game, yeah there are conversations about other things. Never been told to sit down when we score, in fact it can get pretty wild at times when we score. They even sing up there some times...

get in block 111-110 then you can have a laugh mate. the north stand is embaressing

The North Stand pretty much reflects the atmosphere of the rest of the ground. If its buzzing, then the North Stand is buzzing. If its quiet like last night, then the North Stand is quiet. Its not brilliant, but I do think it sometimes get an unfair press. There are other areas that are equally as bad.

Don't be daft Richard those chirpy fellas in 110/111 are far superior to the rest of the ground ;)

Not having ago but, I hate the whole south stand 'my dick is bigger than yours' attitude. Maybe they should concentrate on there own singing, which was pretty much non existance yesterday, than anyone elses.
