North Stand

i'd rather be in the north stand than 111, full of part-timers that seem to think they are citys greatest fans purely because they spend 90 minutes watching the away fans and muttering about central heating, lads in pink and fat blokes ;) can never hear them anyway from the SS. 117 was 'bare jokes' last night. kinnnnnnnnelll

Get them to stop singing then and see how much the atmosphere changes perhaps? Without 111, there would be nothing.

Full of part timers even thought most of the people in 111/110 are there every home game so i assume have a season ticket. Makes sense that one.......

plenty of gaps in the south stand lately aswell, but then again everyone should be thankful for their "electric" atmosphere of 200 people in a standing crowd of 3,000 singing rag songs and "buy your club and burn it down"

woah so much slagging off in this thread lol!

well im in east stand block 110 on sat do i get a telling off?

only joking.

. At one point i was told to sit down because i stood up when we scored

Not having that. You made it up, or more likely bent the truth.

Nobody in the history of MCFC has been told to sit down when celebrating a goal.

Guess what , some scientists are now saying that you can actually watch a game of football without spending 90 mins shouting abuse and singing songs about munich , united and blue moons ! They claim it`s also possible to look at the pitch for the duration of the game and not have to stare at a bunch of people from somewhere else , while chanting abuse at them , coz they support another team to you !
I just think some people like to WATCH the game and so sit in the North Stand and some like to stand watching the opposition fans and chant about united and so sit in the South Stand.

bluemoon1078 quite obviously your not a fan of singing but to slag off block 111 and 110 is a big statement considering you dont sing yourself?!!

To me it seems that you dont know much about city because i am guessing that nearly every seat in those 2 blocks is held by a season ticket holder.

Dont call them part timers because they are actually trying to create and atmosphere.

Bein told to sit down for a corner is EMBARASING!!!

To be fair, that has never happened to me in the North Stand ever, since we moved to COMS obviously. Look at the North Stand next time we have a corner. The majority stand.
