Im setting up a group in FB for NI based City fans (well any City fans if they want to join)...but the aim is to try and make contact with as many as possible and to arrange meet-ups for games etc

Myself and a few others have had very little luck with "supporters" clubs...so would like to set something up very informally...almost a mini extension of what goes on here...but a bit more local and like i mentioned, with a view to getting together to watch the games.

Would appreciate it if you joined up. Its "join on approval" at the moment, so just click the link and i'll approve it.

Thanks guys...i should have approved them. Like i mention, not much happening yet, just want to gather like minded fans for a bit of craic and hopefully meet up for games now and again!!

Lets hope Clarkie joins up too :-)
 
!st Belfast supporters club have always been open for new members and advertised quite well about it. We already have a FB page and website but yourself i don't think you have ever applied. i think i remember you posting once that we where near you but that was the last we heard of anything.

the old problem of religon unfortunatley pops up when where we meet there is nothing we can do about it as i'm sure you will agree. As for meeting up for games we tried all that even going into town to watch games to pubs like the bot,also the garrick hoping to attract city fans but most just don't seem to like the thoughts of attending meetings once a fortnight. we have also approached city fans when we are going over for games on the plane but it's the same answer could you get me tickets if i join and just send dues in as i might not be able to attend.
 
Yeah i did make contact a while back...much appreciated. But as you mentioned unfortunately a cpl of friends of mine werent too keen on going to certain parts of town.

This is no reflection on you or 1st Belfast at all by the way.

Also some guys cant commit to regular meetings/dues etc...this is just something very informal, and a chance for other fans to meet-up to watch games now and again.
