Yeah it's all from the This England documentary and it's the only footage of wigan available. That's why it appears time and time again. A lot of the soulies hated everything about the media attention. I've not seen the film or even heard of it but I'll look out for it. Never went to Wigan myself, not nearly old enough and the only nighters I went to like Wigan were probably Warrington Parr Hall once and Bradford Queen's Hall which was like a dirty old ballroom cut in half. More recently the Bank holiday allnighters in the Ritz were good until the yuppies in their shiny new flats complained and had it stopped. The irony-buying a Hacienda flat because you want a piece of history to blather on about at your yuppie dinner parties and then moaning about music in the early hours. Tossers.
