Northern Soul- Sssshhhh.... Keep it to yourself

LP this what i would call modern soul. Judge ringleaders or 4 temples what a track, have you also heard "Win you over" another great track.
 
Three great examples there CK. Particularly the Honey and the Bees, absolutely brilliant! All new to me and now added to my play lists. Sorry to read of your health scare a few pages back mate and I hope your well and truly on the mend.

Thought I'd mention the Número Group. If not familiar with the label, it's well worth checking out IMHO.

Happy to agree with you Judge - I'm just an old git wallowing in nostalgia... Whatever the 'era'. if a tune makes you feel like dancing, it's good!

Final point for this post... 43 years of listening, my own favourite Northern tracks are - Younghearts - A little togetherness, Chubby Checker - You just don't know, and Mickey Lee Lane - Hey Sah Lo Ney (+ Tracks to your mind). Like I say, they don't have to be rare to be great!

True mate. These days rare finds aren't always great but great finds are rare. That's just the way it is now and people prepared to travel the world to unearth the next gem should be applauded.

Anyone ever hear of The Contrasts?

Just got a killer 7" of Summertime b/w More, well their version of Summertime is a stomper anyway
